Robert Stephen Consulting Overview

Beginning in late 2001, I have contracted for Robert Stephen Consulting. RSC provides products and services to companies that use the Archibus CAFM application.

A major project I've undertaking for RSC is that of making a web verion of an Archibus desktop component. This project, on the Sybase database, is written with .asp on the server and as much work as possible brought to the client interface for processing in Javascript to facilitate porting the web app to other languages in the future.

In simplest terms, The application I'm building helps human resources managers moving employee offices between various locations on a corporate campus. To help users properly fill out the various forms required to process these moves, I make extensive use of both Javascript and SQL to do filtering and lookups on a database with tens of thousands of records.
